Everyday Independence is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide life-changing OT services to NDIS participants. We offer full-time, part-time (4 days/week) or a 9-day fortnight, with a salary range of AU$82,106–AU$110,143 per year inclusive of annual leave loading.

You will work in diverse settings—from homes to schools and community spaces—within a supportive, interdisciplinary team. Opportunities to specialise in paediatrics, youth or adult streams, plus PD allowances and career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• General AHPRA Registration
• Positive and flexible approach to work
• Strong communication skills and a team player

• NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Experience working in NDIS/disability is preferred, however not essential

Responsibilities

• Provide life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants in diverse settings (homes, schools, community)
• Create therapy plans using evidence-based assessment tools
• Work within an interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals
• Build meaningful relationships with participants and supports
• Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub and engage with mentoring
• Contribute to maximising participant outcomes and funding through effective OT services

About The Role

We are looking for Occupational Therapists to provide life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full-time position, however part-time would also be considered.

As an Occupational Therapist at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same. If you were here last week, these are some of the things you may have done:

• Working in the social model means you’ll work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres
• Utilizing an evidence-based measurement tool and your skills in assessment, you’ll create therapy plans and provide life-changing occupational therapy to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
• Work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals
• Building meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
• Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs
• You’ll tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor
