Job summary

ORS Group in Australia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to undertake comprehensive assessments across multiple settings, including SIL, sensory, AT, and home modifications. You will also evaluate functional daily living skills and environmental risks, providing ongoing therapy where appropriate.

The role emphasizes flexible work arrangements with options to work from home, client-driven scheduling, and potential part-time hours to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA.
• A car and licence.
• A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check or able to get one.

Responsibilities

• Complete SIL assessments across supported independent living settings.
• Conduct sensory assessments and assessments of assistive technology (AT).
• Perform home modifications assessments, including complex cases.
• Assess functional daily living skills and environmental risk.
• Provide ongoing therapy and skill-building for clients.

Education

Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy

Registration with AHPRA

Car and licence

National Police Clearance / WWCC / NDIS Worker Screening

Job description

The types of assessments and interventions that you will complete include:

• Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments
• Sensory Assessments
• Assistive Technology (AT) Assessments
• Home Modifications Assessments (including complex)
• Functional Daily Living Skills Assessments
• Environmental Risk Assessments
• Skill building and ongoing therapy

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or ORS clinics.
