seek.com.au is seeking an occupational health registered nurse (AHPRA) to join our Maitland team. The role involves conducting pre-employment, periodic and health surveillance medicals, with full training provided.

You will perform vision, audiometric and spirometry testing, venepuncture, ECG, drug and alcohol screening, and functional capacity evaluations. A valid driver's license and the ability to work independently as well as in a team are essential.

Formación

• Experience in occupational health assessments is preferred but training will be provided.
• Experience with spirometry, audiometry and vision testing is beneficial.
• Must have a current nursing registration and be eligible to work in Australia.
• Ability to manage documentation and maintain schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct pre-employment, periodic and health surveillance medicals.
• Order and restock medical supplies and maintain equipment.
• Perform vision, audiometric, spirometry testing and venepuncture.
• Conduct ECGs and drug/alcohol screening as required.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of health information.

We are looking for an occupational health registered nurse (AHPRA) available to work in our Maitland location to become a valued member of our team.

Experience

Experience in the below is preferred but is not essential as full training will be provided:

• Conducting screening for pre-employment, periodic & health surveillance medicals
• Vision, audiometric & spirometry testing
• Drug & alcohol screening
• Venepuncture
• ECG
• Functional capacity evaluations & musculoskeletal examinations
• Respirator fit tests
• Experience conducting occupational health assessments (spirometry, audiometry, D&A testing)
• Accredited to conduct Category 3 rail medicals
• Accredited administering immunisations

Required Skills

• The ability to make accurate documentation of all relevant findings & ensuring timeframes & schedules are adhered to
• Drivers licence & own reliable transport
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team
• Willingness to learn & adapt to different rolls within our company

The position is 5 days per week. Our usual office hours are 9 - 5.

The position will also include:

• Ordering & restocking medical supplies
• Ensuring equipment & supplies are well maintained & accurate, eg. completing calibrations & checking expiry dates
• Adhering with privacy & confidentiality requirements
