Job summary

ForHealth is seeking an Exercise Scientist or Exercise Physiologist to join our Occupational Health team in Werribee, VIC. The role focuses on delivering high-quality occupational health services, including health assessments, injury prevention, and worker wellbeing, within a supportive, collaborative environment.

You will conduct pre-employment and occupational health assessments, perform functional capacity tests, and coordinate follow-up activities for clients and workers.

About the Role

As an Occupational Health Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational health services to workers and corporate clients. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you'll help improve workplace health outcomes while building strong relationships with clients, workers, and healthcare professionals.

This role provides a great opportunity to apply your clinical knowledge in a dynamic environment focused on prevention, wellbeing, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational health and pre-employment medical assessments
• Complete functional capacity assessments
• Perform drug and alcohol testing, spirometry, audiometry, and ECG assessments
• Support workplace injury prevention and health promotion initiatives
• Coordinate GP correspondence and medical follow-up activities
• Arrange medical appointments and liaise with injured workers and stakeholders
• Review assessment outcomes and prepare accurate reports for clients
• Support candidates throughout pre-employment medicals and health assessments
• Maintain clinical equipment, assessment rooms, and stock levels
• Complete documentation in line with accreditation requirements
• Accurately record service delivery for billing purposes
• Travel to client sites as required
• Promote safe work practices and report hazards and incidents in a timely manner
