Job summary

ForHealth is seeking an Occupational Health Assessor in Berrigan to deliver high-quality health services across corporate and workers' groups. You will conduct workplace health assessments, screen and report results, and support injury-prevention initiatives.

The role requires working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, building trusted relationships with workers and clients while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and timely, accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Qualification as an Exercise Scientist or Exercise Physiologist.
• Commitment to professional and clinical standards.
• Ability to conduct assessments accurately and confidently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite occupational health and medical screening services.
• Complete functional capacity assessments.
• Perform preliminary drug and urine screening, spirometry, ECGs and audiometry.
• Support injury-prevention and workplace health initiatives.
• Coordinate GP correspondence and follow up according to client requirements.
• Arrange medical appointments for injured workers and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
• Review assessment results and provide accurate, high-quality reports to clients.
• Help workers feel comfortable and supported throughout pre-employment assessments and medical screenings.
• Prepare, clean and maintain assessment rooms and clinical equipment.
• Ensure clinical rooms are appropriately stocked and equipment is sterilised.
• Complete administrative documentation in accordance with accreditation requirements.
• Record onsite service time accurately for billing purposes.
• Travel to client sites when required.
• Maintain safe working practices and promptly report incidents and hazards.
