Job summary

LagardèreAWPL is seeking a payroll specialist to effectively manage all payroll functions for the organisation in Australia and New Zealand. You will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, handling fortnightly pays, journals, compliance, and reporting.

The role requires 2–3 years’ NZ/AU payroll experience for 500–700 employees, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with Affinity, UKG and HiBob. Hybrid work options are available within our vibrant team.

Qualifications

• Experience using Payroll/HRIS and T&A systems.
• NZ & AU payroll processing for 2-3 years for 500–700 employees.
• Strong Excel skills including pivots and vlookups.
• Ability to manage multiple payrolls and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing of fortnightly pays for all NZ employees and AU payroll processing.
• Preparation & Posting Bank & Payroll Journals on Business Central & SAP.
• Maintenance of emails from Payroll Inbox and IRD Portal messages.
• IRD PAYE reconciliation and lodgment.
• Updating New Hires and Cost Centre on Affinity Payroll System.
• Timesheets processing from UKG Time & Attendance System.
• Prepare Month End Reports and Payroll Tax Reconciliation.
• Respond to payroll enquiries from employees/managers.
