Yadu Health Aboriginal Corporation is seeking dedicated Aged Care Support Workers to join our team serving Elders at Seaview Village and in-home care in Ceduna and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Aged Care role.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable.
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is highly desirable.
• Permanent work rights in Australia or work rights that do not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support Residents with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, and personal care needs.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
• Monitor Residents’ health, assist with medications as directed, and promptly report any changes or concerns.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment in line with health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with Residents, families, and colleagues, while advocating for Residents’ needs and completing required training.

About the Role
