Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training) to bring frontline clinical knowledge to AI development. You will review AI-generated clinical content, assess accuracy against real-world nursing workflows, and provide structured feedback to improve model performance.

The role is a remote hourly contract (10–40 hours/week) with flexible scheduling. Strong RN background, Epic/Cerner experience, and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with EHR platforms such as Epic or Cerner.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs for clinical accuracy and realism.
• Clear, precise written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated; comfortable working independently.
• Experience in nursing informatics is a plus.
• Experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or quality review workflows.
• Interest in AI tools and how language models are developed.
• Experience in specialty areas (critical care, med-surg, oncology, primary care) is nice.

Who You Are

• Strong ability to evaluate clinical accuracy and identify where AI responses fall short of real-world practice
• Clear written communication skills — you can articulate why something is right or wrong, not just flag it
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently

Nice to Have

• Background in clinical informatics, health IT, or nursing informatics
• Experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or quality review workflows
