Job summary
St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Specialist Practice Education Coordinator to lead clinical education across Medical, Surgical and Integrated care settings. You will drive the Pathway to Specialty Practice Program and coordinate postgraduate support with local educators to maximise training opportunities for the nursing workforce.
The role requires leadership of education teams, collaboration with stakeholders and delivery of targeted programs to grow nursing
Qualifications
- Current Nursing Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
- Degree in General Nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery board of Australia.
- Masters in Advanced Nursing.
- Postgraduate qualification in Education, Clinical Supervision or similar (or working towards).
- Experience in development, delivery and coordination of Nursing Education Programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical education and training within Medical, Surgical and Integrated care settings.
- Oversee and facilitate the Pathway to Specialty Practice Program.
- Liaise with the Postgraduate Coordinator for program development and support.
- Ensure staff and learners receive optimal training and support.
- Provide leadership and educational development of local education teams across sites.
