Job summary

St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba in Melbourne, VIC, is seeking a Specialist Practice Education Coordinator to lead clinical education across Medical, Surgical and Integrated care settings and to grow our own nursing workforce.

The role oversees the Pathway to Specialty Practice, collaborates with Postgraduate Coordinators, and ensures educators have the support to deliver relevant training and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Nursing Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
• Degree in General Nursing meeting registration requirements.
• Masters in Advanced Nursing.
• Postgraduate qualification in Education, Clinical Supervision or similar (or working towards).
• Experience in development, delivery and coordination of Nursing Education Programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical education and training within Medical, Surgical and Integrated care settings to maximise opportunities to grow our Nursing workforce.
• Oversee and facilitate the Pathway to Specialty Practice Program.
• Liaise with the Postgraduate Coordinator to support local Postgraduate Programs and educator capacity.
• Provide leadership, management and educational development for local education teams.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide relevant training and qualifications.
