St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is seeking a Clinical Nurse (Education) with a focus on Cardiology and Cardiothoracic and Vascular to join the Education Team. The role is a Level 2 Clinical Nurse permanent, 0.7 FTE per fortnight, reporting to the Education Manager, and involves leading clinical education across inpatient and outpatient areas.

The successful candidate will have substantial nursing and education experience, with registration, and postgraduate teaching qualifications

Formación

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cardiology & Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinically based education role (desirable).
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current, and/or working towards).
• Postgraduate qualification in clinical specialty (desirable).
• Postgraduate qualification in clinical teaching, and/or education in a healthcare setting (desirable).
• Current Advanced Life Support Certification (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Promote clinical excellence and staff development within the Cardiology & Cardiothoracic and Vascular environment.
• Assess clinical skills and support education events and activities.
• Provide person-centred development of staff and collaborate with the education team to address learners' needs.
