Job summary

Little Gumnuts Early Learning Group Wyoming NSW is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nursery and drive high-quality learning experiences for babies and toddlers.

You will mentor educators, develop engaging programs, ensure alignment with the EYLF and NQF, and build strong relationships with families while working closely with the Centre Director and team.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA approved equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a Room Leader or similar leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience working with children aged 0-2 years.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR and Child Protection training, or willingness to obtain/update as required.
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day to day operation of the Nursery room and support a positive, nurturing environment for children.
• Develop and implement high quality educational programs that foster children's learning, development, curiosity and wellbeing.
• Mentor, guide and support educators within your room.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Support consistent practices aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
• Work collaboratively with the Centre Director and wider team.
• Contribute to the ongoing development, culture and quality improvement of the service.
