Job summary

Hiring4Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a Private Hospital in the Darwin region. You will join the management cohort, lead a ward/unit, and deliver evidence-based nursing care while guiding junior staff.

The role requires AHPRA registration, leadership experience, and a nursing specialty degree. Strong communication and HR knowledge are essential; MS Office and database management skills are expected.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Registration.
• Working with Children Check.
• Experience at Nurse Unit Manager level or equivalent.
• Acute care experience.
• Relevant nursing specialty degree.
• Compliance with national standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the ward/unit in alignment with hospital objectives.
• Provide operational oversight for efficient unit management and evidence-based nursing care.
• Manage resources (human, financial, material) while maintaining high customer service.
• Provide direct patient care as needed and mentor junior staff.
