Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated experience in a nursing leadership or management role, preferably within high-care or memory support.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams, including performance development and staff engagement.
• Strong clinical knowledge and sound judgement with commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong clinical and operational leadership in the high-care unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Lead, support, and mentor nursing and care staff, fostering a positive, accountable, and engaged team culture.
• Oversee day-to-day unit operations, including staffing oversight, clinical coordination, and effective use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements, and actively manage clinical risk.
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives, responding to incidents, audits, and feedback to enhance care outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with residents, families, multidisciplinary teams, and senior leadership to support consistent, compassionate care delivery.
