Department of Health Tasmania seeks a Nurse Unit Manager for Deloraine District Hospital to lead high-quality patient care across acute, community, and emergency settings. You will drive clinical excellence, staff leadership, and innovation within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

The role requires extensive acute and community nursing experience, strong governance knowledge, and proven leadership. 76 hours per fortnight, permanent full-time position in the North region.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
• Extensive acute and community nursing experience with governance, risk management and evidence-based practice.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills to influence teams and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate patient care at Deloraine Hospital within a multidisciplinary framework.
• Provide leadership in contemporary nursing practice and promote innovation.
• Support staff in acute, community and emergency settings.
