Golden Beach Medical Centre, based in Caloundra, Queensland, seeks an experienced Nurse Team Lead to guide our nursing staff and drive clinical excellence within a collaborative primary healthcare clinic.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor nurses, support workforce planning, and lead chronic disease management and quality improvement initiatives while ensuring patient safety and governance standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR Certification.
• COVID-19 vaccination status in line with healthcare requirements.
• Previous experience in a senior nursing, leadership or coordination role.
• Strong knowledge of Chronic Disease Management and primary healthcare.
• Experience leading teams within a busy clinical environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
• Experience in General Practice or Primary Healthcare is highly regarded.

About the Role

As Nurse Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and supporting our nursing team while ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality patient care.

About You

You are an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys supporting others, solving problems and leading by example.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
