Job summary

Golden Beach Medical Centre, based in Caloundra, Queensland, seeks an experienced Nurse Team Lead to guide our nursing staff and drive clinical excellence within a collaborative primary healthcare clinic.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor nurses, support workforce planning, and lead chronic disease management and quality improvement initiatives while ensuring patient safety and governance standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR Certification.
• COVID-19 vaccination status in line with healthcare requirements.
• Previous experience in a senior nursing, leadership or coordination role.
• Strong knowledge of Chronic Disease Management and primary healthcare.
• Experience leading teams within a busy clinical environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
• Experience in General Practice or Primary Healthcare is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of nurses.
• Managing day-to-day nursing operations within a busy GP clinic.
• Supporting workforce planning, rostering and team development.
• Overseeing Chronic Disease Management programs and care plans.
• Driving quality improvement initiatives and clinical efficiencies.
