Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the casual pool and agency workforce within the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate- Workforce. You will drive centralised workforce management across NSLHD facilities, partnering with nursing leaders to meet service needs and maintain safe, high‑quality patient care.

The role is a Temporary Full Time position based in Sydney, NSW, with a contract until 17 September 2027.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with unconditional AHPRA registration.
• Tertiary qualifications in Health Management or significant relevant experience.
• Senior operational management experience in a complex health care environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and deadline prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of the casual pool and agency workforce across NSLHD facilities.
• Provide centralised, customer-focused workforce management services.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager Nursing and Midwifery Workforce NSLHD to align workload with needs.
• Ensure governance, safe patient care and professional development support.
