Monash Health in Dandenong is seeking an Associate Nurse Manager for North Ward, a 20-bed surgical unit specialising in plastics, reconstructions, ENT, maxillofacial, ophthalmology and gynaecology. The role is part-time (0.8 EFT) on a fixed-term basis until November 2027.

You will lead day-to-day operations, support the Nurse Manager, and drive person-centred care while coordinating rosters, workload and patient flow in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifikationen

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) via AHPRA.
• Experience as Associate Nurse Manager or in a senior charge role.
• Willingness to develop leadership capabilities through a portfolio.
• Ability to rotate roster across day, evening and night shifts.
• Postgraduate study in management or leadership is desirable.
• Current Victorian driver's licence is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Provide strong leadership across day-to-day operations, clinical outcomes and staff management, deputising for the Nurse Manager as required.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.
• Coordinate unit activities including workload delegation, rostering, nurse-to-patient ratios and admissions/discharges.
• Undertake clinical training and engage in quality improvement aligned with safety standards.
