Job summary

The Department of Health Tasmania is seeking a Clinical Coach, Pool to support onboarding and ongoing development for approximately 600 nurses, midwives and support staff at LGH and THS North in Launceston. The role focuses on mandatory training, orientation and skill development to ensure excellent patient care.

You will foster a safe, supportive work environment aligned with CARE values, supporting Pool Office and staff to meet predicted and unpredicted staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in acute clinical areas to support nurses and the healthcare team.
• Experience in performance development, support and assessment for staff from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and ongoing development of about 600 Pool staff.
• Assist with mandatory training, orientation and skill development.
• Create a safe, supportive environment for Pool staff to thrive.
• Respond to staffing needs within THS North with the Pool Office team.
