Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with students, families and staff.
• Demonstrated behaviours aligned with department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas or programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings and school events.
• Engage in professional learning and support colleagues to improve teaching quality.
