Job summary

AECOM Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Ventilation Engineer with Nuclear experience to join the Adelaide Building Engineering team. You will design and engineer nuclear ventilation and containment systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires delivering high-integrity ventilation solutions in a highly regulated environment, with a focus on safety, compliance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with ventilation experience.
• Experience delivering ventilation/HVAC on major infrastructure or regulated projects.
• Strong understanding of safety culture and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of nuclear ventilation systems and containment.
• Develop technical specifications, calculations and design documents.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to integrate ventilation into facility design.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and designers.
• Support commissioning, testing and verification activities.
