ASC seeks a Project Engineering Manager - Nuclear to coordinate nuclear engineering and delivery across SSN Sustainment. You will lead engineers and mentor staff, working with Australian and US counterparts to develop a world-class engineering function for the future.

The role emphasizes nuclear safety compliance, maintenance planning, and collaboration with defence stakeholders while pursuing professional growth opportunities in a challenging defence industry environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Support the Head of Nuclear Engineering and lead the department delivery.
• Provide expert engineering advice for submarine maintenance and repair.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, regulatory, quality, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Government, Defence, Ship’s Force, and assurance stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver nuclear engineering activities during Submarine Maintenance Periods within SRF-W.
• Lead and develop nuclear engineering personnel and drive capability uplift.
