Job summary

BGIS, Government Client, is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to support a large NSW government property portfolio. You will report to the Contract Manager and collaborate with client agencies and BGIS teams to meet KPIs, coordinate maintenance programs, and ensure safe, compliant facilities.

The role requires strong organisational, commercial, and communication skills with willingness to travel across NSW. A hybrid work pattern and full-time permanent employment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering integrated facilities management, property, or maintenance services across multiple sites.
• Experience managing large scale maintenance programs with a commercial mindset.
• Experience procuring and managing subcontractors and vendors.
• Strong budgeting and cost management capabilities.
• Familiarity with QA, WHS, and environmental systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service delivery across the portfolio and ensure KPI achievement.
• Manage contract financials, invoicing, budgets, and supplier payments.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance using the CMMS.
• Develop scopes of works and contract docs per BGIS procurement processes.
• Coordinate subcontractors, WHS compliance, and assess completed works.
• Prepare variations and approvals for additional works.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement via KPI reviews.
• Build relationships with client agencies, contractors, and colleagues.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and flag risks and opportunities.
• Support WHS, quality, environmental, and sustainability across activities.
• Travel regularly to client sites across NSW.
