Job summary

Deepcore Drilling, in partnership with Mitchell Services, is offering Drillers’ Offsider positions across Cadia, NSW. No drilling experience required; full training and career progression await motivated applicants who are reliable and safety-minded.

You’ll assist with drilling activities, complete pre-start checks, and help maintain a safe work environment as part of a supportive crew. Rotations include 14/7 or 5/2 rosters with accommodation and travel where applicable.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 35 kg and work 12-hour shifts.
• HR licence for surface roles, current or obtainable ASAP.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and willing to learn.
• Able to pass pre-employment medicals, functional assessments and drug and alcohol screening.
• Able to obtain a National Police Check or Clearance.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drilling activities and site operations.
• Complete pre-start checks and identify hazards.
• Handle samples as required and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work with experienced drillers to support operations.
