Job summary

Concentis is leading a major greenfield copper project in Queensland and seeks an experienced Supervisor for Non-Process Infrastructure installations. In this role you will oversee structural steel, mechanical, piping and fuel infrastructure, coordinating contractors to deliver safe, compliant work to project specs.

You will coordinate workshops, monitor progress, and ensure quality across multiple fronts while aligning with project engineers and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified with a background in mechanical, structural, steelwork or piping disciplines.
• Proven experience supervising contractors on mining or major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of structural steel, mechanical installations and piping systems.
• Experience with pumping systems, fuel facilities or industrial workshop installations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation procedures and specifications.
• Strong focus on safety, quality assurance and construction compliance.
• Effective communication, coordination and contractor management skills.
• Able to make sound decisions and resolve site issues in a practical manner.
• Collaborative approach when working with engineers, supervisors and construction teams.
• Valid Australian work rights and ability to meet site onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise structural steel, mechanical and piping installation works.
• Manage contractors delivering pumping systems and fuel infrastructure.
• Coordinate workshop installations and associated mechanical services.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, work quality and construction progress.
• Ensure installation works comply with drawings, specifications and site standards.
• Coordinate installation procedures, inspections and quality documentation.
• Identify and resolve construction issues and installation challenges.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with site safety requirements.
• Coordinate with other supervisors to manage interfaces and work handovers.
• Maintain effective communication with project engineers and site leadership.
