Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to join a major owner-side project team in the Pilbara, WA. You will supervise civil works across earthworks and concrete, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery on mine infrastructure projects.

The role requires 10+ years of construction experience and at least 5 years in a supervisory leadership position, with strong stakeholder engagement and a proven ability to coordinate multiple contractors on site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' construction experience.
• At least 5 years in a Construction Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, concrete and mining infrastructure projects.
• Experience working within operational mine sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervising civil construction works from bulk earthworks through to detailed concrete construction.
• Managing multiple contractors and work fronts simultaneously.
• Reviewing inspection and test records, quality documentation and construction deliverables.
• Conducting field leadership activities and promoting a strong safety culture.
• Managing punch lists, defects and project handovers.
• Coordinating contractor interfaces and SIMOPS activities.
• Liaising closely with project teams, operations personnel and site stakeholders.
• Monitoring construction progress and ensuring works are completed in accordance with project requirements.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to join a major owner-side project team delivering a significant portfolio of mining infrastructure and decarbonisation projects across the Pilbara.

Working within a large-scale capital projects environment, you will play a key role in overseeing contractors and ensuring civil construction works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervising civil construction works from bulk earthworks through to detailed concrete construction.


• Managing multiple contractors and work fronts simultaneously.


• Reviewing inspection and test records, quality documentation and construction deliverables.


• Conducting field leadership activities and promoting a strong safety culture.


• Managing punch lists, defects and project handovers.


• Coordinating contractor interfaces and SIMOPS activities.
