Job summary

Norquip Hire in North Queensland seeks an experienced senior leader to drive the Norquip business across site, service and event solutions. You will oversee people, assets, financial performance and safety, delivering reliable service and strong customer outcomes.

You will lead an established team, manage budgets, drive growth, and maintain regulatory compliance while building key customer relationships across a broad regional footprint.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a business, branch, or large operational function.
• Demonstrated financial capability, budgets, and EBITDA-like targets.
• Experience developing plans and driving sustainable growth.
• Experience leading managers and teams with measurable accountability.
• Ability to manage assets, fleet, or service/logistics operations.
• Ability to oversee sales activity and build customer relationships.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulatory requirements.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear and practical leadership across the Norquip business.
• Take ownership of financial performance, budgets, profitability and EBITDA targets.
• Develop and implement business plans that support sustainable growth.
• Lead and hold managers and employees accountable for performance.
• Oversee fleet, assets maintenance and deployment to meet demand.
• Ensure adequate people, equipment and resources for operations.
• Oversee sales activity, pricing and commercial opportunities.
• Build relationships with key customers and respond to needs.
• Support business development and brand awareness in the region.
• Ensure compliance with WH&S, environmental and regulatory requirements.
