Job summary

Northern Australia Civil is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day plant and labour hire operations across client sites in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. You will coordinate plant allocation, rosters and mobilisation while ensuring safety, efficiency and high-quality delivery.

The role requires a background in civil construction, mining or related industries, with strong leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior operational leadership role.
• Proven ability to coordinate plant, equipment and workforce resources.
• Strong understanding of utilisation, service delivery and cost control.
• Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Current C Class Driver Licence and White Card.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant and labour hire operations across NT and WA, with travel to sites required.
• Coordinate workforce rosters, plant allocation and mobilisation.
• Manage client delivery requirements and operational issues.
• Improve scheduling, resource utilisation and operational systems.
• Lead supervisors, operators, labour hire personnel and project teams.
• Monitor utilisation, productivity and operational costs.
• Support safety, quality and compliance standards.
• Liaise with the NAC workshop regarding servicing, repairs and workforce allocation.
