Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant in Noosa for a permanent part-time role, generally 9am–2pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with travel between clients on the Sunshine Coast. You’ll provide personalised in-home care to help clients live independently.

This role requires a Certificate III in Ageing or similar, a valid Australian driver’s licence, and current First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Ageing Support or similar required.
• Australian Driver’s Licence with access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Strong communication and compassionate approach to ageing clients.

Responsibilities

• Domestic assistance such as light house cleaning and meal preparation.
• Personal care including showering and daily hygiene support.
• Community access to medical appointments and social activities.
• Support with daily tasks and routines; build relationships with clients and families.
