Job summary

Life Without Barriers in Noosa is seeking an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant for a permanent part-time role, 9am–2pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. You will travel between clients’ homes to provide personalised in-home care, with AU$1.01 per km reimbursed while you are working.

You will assist with light domestic tasks, personal care and community access, build positive relationships with clients and families, and complete required pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Ageing Support or equivalent.
• Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Pre-employment checks including National Criminal History Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Domestic assistance such as light house cleaning and meal preparation.
• Personal care including showering and daily hygiene.
• Assist with medical appointments and social activities in the local community.
• Provide support with daily tasks and routines.
• Build positive relationships with clients and their families.
