Job summary

Hyperfast is hiring a NOC Engineer (1st Line Support) to join our 24/7 operations team in Belfast. You will be the first contact for telecoms support, diagnosing faults and restoring service across FTTP deployments.

You'll work in a fast-paced, diverse environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and following SLA-driven processes. Prior network support, CCNA knowledge, and GPON familiarity are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of network protocols (IPv4/IPv6, VLANs).
• CCNA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line technical support for faults and outages.
• Troubleshoot end user faults.
• Identify faults and engage with support teams.
• Proactively manage alarms and outages, updating stakeholders.
• Own and manage incident tickets.
• Operate within SLA.
• Assist other teams to resolve faults by phone.
• Order management.
