Job summary

Amazon Transportation Services is seeking a Transportation Specialist at the Sydney (DNS6) Delivery Station. The role focuses on coordinating trailer moves, yard activities, audits and driver training, with a night-shift pattern, Monday–Friday. You will work with SSP, FMC and YMS systems and engage multiple carriers to maintain on-time performance.

The position requires flexible scheduling, autonomy, and strong data reporting skills to support transport networks and safety standards.

Qualifications

Experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation or distribution operations.
Able to stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours with occasional lifting up to 23 kg.
Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
Strong communication with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

Create and distribute a daily End of Shift report for inbound/outbound loads.
Coordinate with OB dock team and NOC to explain delay reasons.
Lead on-site yard safety and incident investigations.
Coordinate with carriers for escalations, pickups, deliveries and weather disruptions.
Develop daily load plans and communicate changes to NOC and stakeholders.
Monitor operations to ensure trailers arrive and depart on time.
Consolidate data to generate daily/weekly/monthly reports and identify issues.
