Job summary

News Corp Australia is seeking an experienced printer for the Yandina Print Centre. The role involves operating Coldset and Heatset MAN Roland web presses on a 4-day, 40-hour night roster, delivering high-quality print publications on tight deadlines.

You will set up, run, and maintain presses, monitor color and registration, and collaborate with a skilled team while adhering to safety policies. Training and development opportunities may be available within a dynamic, hybrid-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Printing is mandatory.
• Experience operating web offset presses with heatset experience preferred.
• Willingness to work night shifts on a rotating 7-day roster.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and maintain Coldset and Heatset MAN Roland web presses safely and efficiently.
• Monitor color accuracy, registration, and output quality to meet standards.
• Meet KPIs on run speed, waste reduction, and downtime.
• Collaborate with shift colleagues for productivity and handovers.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
