Job summary

News Corp Australia is seeking an experienced, trade-qualified Printer to join our production team at the Yandina Print Centre. Operating both Coldset and Heatset MAN Roland web offset presses, you will play a key role in delivering high-volume, high-quality print publications.

Working a 4-day, 40-hour roster on night shifts, you will collaborate with an experienced team of press operators to maintain top-tier quality standards while meeting tight production deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Printing is mandatory.
  • Experience operating web offset presses; Heatset printing experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Willingness to work night shifts across a rotating 7-day operational schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Night Shift (5:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | 4 x 10-hour shifts | Rotating 7-day roster
  • Set up, run, and maintain Coldset and Heatset MAN Roland web presses safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor color accuracy, registration, and overall output quality to ensure publications meet strict press standards.
  • Consistently meet or exceed operational KPIs regarding run speed, waste reduction, and downtime.
  • Work closely with shift colleagues to maintain high productivity and smooth shift handovers.
  • Adhere strictly to all workplace health, safety, and environmental policies, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
