Job summary

Bayside Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Urgent Care Centre overnight team in Victoria. This Permanent Night Shift role offers full-time hours (80 per fortnight) and the chance to contribute to community health within a supportive, innovative public health service.

You will provide person-centred care under the Nurse Unit Manager, perform triage, assessment and care planning, and maintain high standards of patient safety in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current practicing certificate (AHPRA)
• Experience in Urgent Care, ED, or Critical Care settings
• Competency in triage and rapid assessment
• Strong assessment, planning and evaluation skills
• Ability to work safely in a high-acuity environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred nursing care within scope of practice
• Work under Nurse Unit Manager direction as part of a nursing team
• Demonstrate assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care
• Perform triage and respond to clinical deterioration
• Maintain patient safety and participate in quality improvement
