Job summary

Compass Group UK & Ireland’s Cuisine Centre is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a night shift team, ensuring SKUs are produced, packed and dispatched per plan. You will uphold GMP, food safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement and accurate inventory records.

The role emphasizes leading by example, coordinating with the Production Manager, and supporting cross-functional teams to meet daily targets and operational priorities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, GMP and quality standards.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Proficient IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift team to meet daily production and packing targets.
• Prepare and pre-mix ingredients according to production requirements.
• Ensure accurate product assembly from build guides and maintain traceability.
• Maintain GMP, food safety and quality standards across all operations.
• Record runtimes, date codes and FIFO to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time and escalate issues as needed.
• Support waste reduction initiatives and safe, hygienic working practices.
