Job summary

Consulting Services is assisting an Australian Transport & Logistics company by recruiting a Logistics Coordinator for the Rail team at the West Melbourne Dock Facility. This temp-to-perm role runs Monday to Friday, 10pm to 6am, with training provided and a requirement to have your own transportation.

You will liaise daily with customers on imports/exports and coordinate container movements. Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years in a similar transport/logistics role, be well organized, able to

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a similar role in transport & logistics.
• Must be well organized and able to multi-task.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Process drivers for inbound and outbound containers.
• Coordinate container locations with stackers.
• Locate containers in terminal and create orders for train services (inbound).
• Book dehires into erail and oversee exports leaving terminal.
• Create empty container pick ups and liaise with customers daily regarding imports/exports.
