Job summary

Manpower Australia is seeking an Operational Dispatch and Administration Support professional in Victoria for a part-time fixed-term role. You will support the National Operations Team with emergency dispatch, creating work orders, and coordinating subcontractor activity, while maintaining accuracy in data and contracts across state teams.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work unsupervised during night shifts Fri 10pm-7am and Sat/Sun 7pm-7am.

Qualifications

• Role focuses on emergency dispatch and administration support.
• Part-time fixed term position for 6 months.
• Night shift Fri 10pm–7am, Sat/Sun 7pm–7am.
• Strong written and spoken communication required.
• Experience with MS Word/Excel essential; Dynamics 365 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Works Dispatch — Receive, respond and raise service requests via phone, email and internal database.
• Dispatch Operational Staff Members — including safety tracking within KPI targets.
• Creating work orders and jobs for emergency and corrective works.
• Creating subcontractor purchase orders – engaging and dispatching subcontractor support when internal staff are not available.
• Updating and validating internal data.
• Assisting with the setup of new contracts for state based delivery teams.
• Undertake random quality checks on internal job completion reports.
• Updating internal on call rosters.
• Reviewing and following up internal staff and subcontractor compliance requirements.
• Ensure all jobs performed are compliant with Industry and security standards.
• Proactively work in a team to manage multiple priorities at once.
