Job summary

Design Sheetmetal VIC is seeking a reliable Night Shift Loader to join the Victoria production and dispatch team. This hands-on role loads and unloads steel products, prepares customer orders, and supports safe, on-time deliveries each night.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate forklifts, check orders, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse while meeting busy shift demands. LF forklift licence and previous warehouse experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence is required.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics or dispatch is preferred.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable with good attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Pick, check and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Handle steel coils, roofing sheets, flashings and sheet metal products safely.
• Verify products and quantities against delivery documents.
• Secure loads to minimise damage during transport.
