Job summary

City Beach Residential College is seeking Supervisors - Active Night Shift to support students in a boarding environment while Perth schools are in session. Successful applicants will supervise students, provide care, manage wellbeing, ensure duty of care, and report concerns to senior staff.

They will arrange activities, transport students as required, and uphold the Public Sector Code of Ethics. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements including Working with Children checks and

Qualifications

• Must be Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa for the term.
• Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Rostered hours may include nights, weekends and public holidays.
• First Aid Certificates CPR and First Aid (HLTAID009, HLTAID011) required.
• Obtain LR Class Driver's Licence and PTD authorisation within six months.
• Aquatic Rescue (Group III Pool Award) and Surf Rescue Certificate within six months.
• Certificate IV in Community Services - Student Residential Care within six months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and provide care to support wellbeing and duty of care.
• Promptly report concerns about student and staff wellbeing, duty of care, safety and maintenance to senior staff.
• Plan and implement leisure activities to develop academic, social, emotional and physical skills.
• Arrange and provide transportation for students, including driving college vehicles.
• Maintain regular communication with students, college staff, parents and school staff.
