John Paul College in Australia invites applications for a Boarding Student Services Officer. This permanent full-time role supports the wellbeing, safety and daily experience of boarding students, working with the Boarding Leadership Team, Supervisors and Nursing staff to create a nurturing residential environment.

The position involves welcoming students, maintaining records, coordinating travel, and upholding safety and behaviour standards while fostering belonging and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Clearance) or eligibility.
• Current Open Class C Driver Licence (LR/MR optional).

Responsabilités

• Welcome students, families, staff and visitors, and manage calls, enquiries and appointments.
• Maintain accurate student records, roll calls and pastoral notes using College systems.
• Coordinate travel, airport transfers and general boarding administration.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with students and foster a sense of belonging.
• Support healthy routines and uphold behaviour expectations in a fair and caring manner.
• Supervise students, monitor whereabouts and assist with transport to activities.
• Uphold child protection, Duty of Care and safety procedures, including drills.
• Liaise with Boarding leadership, School Nurses, coaches and the International team to support wellbeing.
• Assist with TAS sports coordination and related logistics.
• Contribute to a safe, structured and supportive residential environment.
