Job summary

The Queensland Government's Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking an Area Coordinator for the Support Services Department. The role oversees environmental cleaning and patient support services at Townsville University Hospital, operating on a 24/7 roster as permanent part-time, 56 hours per fortnight.

Responsibilities include coordinating workforce, rostering, and daily service delivery while ensuring safety and compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leadership and Management is preferred or enrolled.
• Licence to operate a class C motor vehicle is required.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role with vaccination requirements.

• Coordinate and supervise the Support Services Department workforce.
• Oversee daily operational service delivery and roster management.
