Townsville Hospital and Health Service invites applications for Area Coordinator, Support Services, to oversee the Support Services workforce across Townsville University Hospital and partner sites, ensuring delivery of cleaning, patient services, waste and linen support. These permanent part-time night-shift roles operate on a 24/7 roster with 56 hours per fortnight.

A preferred Leadership/Management qualification and a C-class licence are required; this is a Vaccine Preventable Disease risk

Qualificações

• Preferred qualification in Leadership and Management (BSB 42015 or equivalent).
• Possession of a licence to operate a class 'C' motor vehicle is required.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease risk role with Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis requirements.

About the opportunityThe Area Coordinator, Support Services Department, is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Support Services Department workforce in it's daily operational service delivery (environmental cleaning and patient support services) at the Townsville University Hospital working a 24/7 roster.About the DepartmentThe Support Services Department provides the essential operational services (environmental cleaning, patient services, waste, and linen) in support to clinical service delivery across the Townsville University Hospital campus, the Kirwan Health campus and four Townsville Community Health sites.PLEASE NOTE: These are permanent part-time NIGHT SHIFT roles, working 56 hours per fortnight. Multiple positions available.Role requirementsWhile not mandatory, a relevant qualification in the following would be preferred.Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB 42015 or equivalent) completed or enrolled with a commitment to complete.The possession of a licence to operate a class 'C' motor vehicle is required.This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
