Job summary

BlueCare Yeppoon Aged Care is seeking a Personal Carer for night shifts in our Capricorn Aged Care Facility, Yeppoon. This permanent part-time role involves providing daily living assistance, personal care and mobility support to residents to maintain independence and improve quality of life.

Remuneration is $36.32 per hour plus super, Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging, allowances and employee discounts. Applicants must have Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent and be prepared to meet probity

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops) advantageous.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meals support and mobility.
• Provide care in accordance with individual Care Plans.
• Support residents with community-based recreational and social activities.

As aPersonal Careryou’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility

Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan

Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Role requirements:

Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification

Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc

Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
