Job summary

EVT Group’s Rydges North Sydney location seeks an experienced Night Manager to lead overnight hotel operations and ensure a seamless guest experience.

You’ll oversee night audit, security, and service standards, while coordinating with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance to meet guest needs. Strong leadership, communication and WH&S knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in front office or overnight hotel operations acting as the manager on duty.
• Strong guest service capability, with expertise in anticipating needs and resolving issues with tact and urgency.
• Highly proficient in front office systems, night audit processes, and hotel property management software.
• Experienced in accurate financial reconciliation, including posting revenue and balancing payments.
• Well-developed communication and leadership skills, supervising night staff and inter‑departmental collaboration.
• Knowledge of WH&S guidelines and hotel operational procedures.

• Deliver exceptional guest service, including check-ins/outs, responding to concerns, and ensuring all requests are actioned.
• Complete the night audit process accurately, ensuring revenue and payments are posted, balanced, and documented.
• Supervise night team members, maintaining communication, performance standards, and adherence to policies.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance to prepare and deliver rooms and guest needs.
• Maintain readiness with opening/closing duties and protect equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance to ensure rooms and guest needs are prepared and delivered accurately.


• Maintain operational readiness by completing opening/closing duties, protecting equipment, and supporting other departments when required.
