Job summary

EVT Group is seeking a Night Manager for the Oran Park site to oversee night operations, ensuring security, service standards and smooth coordination across departments.

You will handle guest check-ins/outs, respond to concerns, and complete accurate night audits with proper documentation. Strong leadership, communication, and familiarity with PMS systems are essential.

• Deliver exceptional guest service, including check-ins/outs, responding to concerns, and ensuring requests are actioned.
• Complete the night audit process accurately, posting revenue and balancing payments with proper documentation.
• Supervise night team members, maintaining communication and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance to prepare rooms and meet guest needs.
• Maintain operational readiness by completing opening/closing duties and supporting other departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring security, service standards, and smooth departmental coordination.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, including check-ins/outs, responding to concerns, and ensuring all requests are actioned and followed through.
• Complete the night audit process accurately, ensuring all revenue and payments are posted, balanced, and supported with correct documentation.
• Supervise night team members, maintaining communication, performance standards, and adherence to operational policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance to ensure rooms and guest needs are prepared and delivered accurately.
• Maintain operational readiness by completing opening/closing duties, protecting equipment, and supporting other departments when required.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in front office or overnight hotel operations acting as the manager on duty.
• Strong guest service capability, with expertise in anticipating needs and resolving issues with tact, diplomacy, and urgency.
• Highly proficient in front office systems, night audit processes, and hotel property management software.
• Experienced in accurate financial reconciliation, including posting revenue, balancing payments, and identifying discrepancies.
• Well-developed communication and leadership skills, supervising night staff and maintaining effective inter‑departmental collaboration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of WH&S guidelines, hotel operational procedures, and local area information relevant to guest experience.
