Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Mail Sorting Officer to join our Stafford Delivery Centre team in Brisbane. Based at the Delivery Centre, you will assist with sorting letters, parcels and Express Post items, loading and unloading mail from bags and containers, and preparing mail for the next day’s delivery.

This entry-level role emphasizes safety, teamwork and reliability. You’ll work across modern processing equipment, with opportunities to grow into processing, delivery or logistics roles within

Qualifications

• Entry-level role in mail sorting and logistics.
• Must be able to handle mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Must have a valid forklift license.
• Ability to work 12am - 7.51am, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing of letters, parcels and Express Post items.
• Sort mail that can’t be machine-processed.
• Load and unload mail from bags, trays and containers.
• Work across processing equipment with team to keep mail moving safely.
