Job summary

Veriu is seeking team members to join our growing Australian-owned hotel group, delivering personal, authentic experiences to guests across our network. You’ll provide memorable guest experiences from check-in to check-out, resolve issues creatively, and share insider tips on local attractions.

Qualifications

• Approved Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or visa).
• First Aid Certificate (or able to obtain before starting).
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or able to obtain before starting).
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays (no overnight shifts).
• Ability to work as a team and also independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of guest services at all touchpoints (check-in, check-out, during their stay).
• Provide creative resolutions to complaints and problems.
• Be the host and location connection for guests – know the local area to offer advice and recommendations.
• Respond to emergency situations in a safe and professional manner.
• Identify opportunities to increase returning and new guests.
• Support the Hotel Manager to ensure the hotel operates to Veri-Best standard.
