Job summary

City and Regional Cleaning is seeking an experienced Night Cleaning Operations Manager in Newcastle to lead our night cleaning team on a fixed-term basis until 31 January 2027. You’ll oversee field operations, ensure consistent high standards, and report to the Operations Manager.

This hands-on leadership role requires managing a multi-site team, coordinating schedules, and maintaining client relationships while upholding WHS standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience managing cleaning operations.
• Experience leading large teams, ideally 30+ employees.
• Strong organisation and cross-site coordination.
• Ability to address staff issues and hold employees accountable.
• Experience conducting inspections and ensuring quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Team leadership: manage and support cleaners across multiple sites.
• Operational management: oversee nightly schedules, attendance, and service delivery.
• Quality assurance: conduct inspections and drive corrective actions.
• Client relationships: maintain professional relations and resolve concerns.
• Staff development: train and mentor employees to improve performance.
• Problem-solving: address absences and urgent client requests.
• Workplace safety: ensure WHS compliance and safe procedures.
• Reporting and communication: keep management updated with accurate records.
